      Tips

      Tips

      • Set How many to pick above 1 to draw several animals in one spin.
      • Turn on No repeats so an animal leaves the pool once it is picked.
      • For a harder drawing challenge, combine an animal with a prompt from the What Should I Draw wheel.

      FAQ

      Frequently asked questions

How many animals are on the list?

109 common animals, from farm and pet animals to ocean, wild, and bug species. Use the quick lists to narrow it down, or type your own.

      Can I change the list?

Yes. Everything in the box is editable. Add, remove, or rename entries and the wheel redraws as you type. Your version is saved in this browser, and Copy share link sends it to someone else.

      Is the result really random?

Yes. The winner is picked with your browser's built-in secure random generator before the wheel starts turning, so every slice has exactly the same chance. The spin only shows the result.

Can I put this wheel on my website or in Google Slides?

On a website, yes. Press Embed this wheel and copy the iframe code. Paste it anywhere that accepts HTML or embed code, such as a blog post, a Google Sites page, or a course page in a learning platform like Canvas, Moodle, or Schoology (some schools turn embeds off, so check with your admin if it does not show). The embedded wheel keeps the entries you had when you copied the code, and visitors spin it right on your page.

Google Slides does not accept iframe code, so the wheel cannot run inside a slide there. Copy the link code or the share link instead, add it to a slide, and click it while you present. Slide and whiteboard tools that accept embed code or a web address, and PowerPoint with a web viewer add-in, can show the live wheel.
