      How it works

How to use the number picker

      1. Set the range

Enter the lowest and highest number. Both ends count, so 1 to 10 can give 1 or 10.

      2. Choose how many

Draw a single number or up to 1,000 at once.

      3. Duplicates on or off

Leave Allow duplicates off for raffle-style draws. Turn it on when every pick should be independent, like rolling the same die again.

      4. Spin and copy

The wheel stops on the first number and the full set appears below it. Copy results pastes them anywhere.

      Any range

      Small ranges and big ranges

Ranges of up to 500 numbers are drawn on the wheel with one slice per number, so you can watch the exact number land under the pointer. For bigger ranges, like 1 to 10,000, the wheel spins as a mystery drum and the numbers appear in the result card. The draw works the same way either way. You can use any whole numbers from -1,000,000,000 to 1,000,000,000, including negative ranges.

      Ideas

What people use a number wheel for

      Raffles

Sold tickets 1 to 250? Set that range and spin once per prize with duplicates off.

      Bingo and lotto games

Draw 1 to 75 one number at a time. Recent results doubles as your called-numbers list.

      Classrooms

Use seat or student numbers when you would rather not show names on screen.

      Study and practice

Pick a random page, chapter, or question number to review.

      Game night

Anything that needs a number no die covers. For standard dice, use the Dice Roller.

      Names instead?

      Drawing names rather than numbers

If your raffle uses names, the Random Name Picker draws several winners at once, and the Wheel of Names handles one at a time.

      FAQ

      Frequently asked questions

      Are the numbers truly random?

They come from crypto.getRandomValues, a cryptographically secure generator built into your browser. We map them onto your range with rejection sampling, so every number from min to max has exactly the same chance, with no lean toward low numbers. Draws without duplicates use a fair partial shuffle.

      Will it remember my range?

Yes. Your range, count, settings, and recent results are kept in this browser's local storage. A share link includes the range and settings, so others get the same setup.

How big can the range be, and how many numbers can I draw?

Any whole numbers from -1,000,000,000 to 1,000,000,000, and up to 1,000 numbers per spin. With duplicates off you cannot draw more numbers than the range holds.

      Does it work on phones?

Yes. The number fields open the numeric keypad, and the wheel fits the screen above the settings.

Can I put this wheel on my website or in Google Slides?

On a website, yes. Press Embed this wheel and copy the iframe code. Paste it anywhere that accepts HTML or embed code, such as a blog post, a Google Sites page, or a course page in a learning platform like Canvas, Moodle, or Schoology (some schools turn embeds off, so check with your admin if it does not show). The embedded wheel keeps the entries you had when you copied the code, and visitors spin it right on your page.

Google Slides does not accept iframe code, so the wheel cannot run inside a slide there. Copy the link code or the share link instead, add it to a slide, and click it while you present. Slide and whiteboard tools that accept embed code or a web address, and PowerPoint with a web viewer add-in, can show the live wheel.
