What we collect
Nothing personal. Wheel Spin Now has no accounts, no sign-up, and no forms. The tools run entirely in your web browser, and the entries you type (names, options, numbers, questions) are not sent to us.
What stays in your browser
To remember your last list, settings, tallies, and recent results, each tool saves them in your browser's local storage on your own device. You can clear this at any time by clearing the tool's list or your browser's site data. Other people using a different device or browser cannot see it.
Share links
When you press Copy share link, your entries are encoded into the link itself (after the # sign). That part of a link is not sent to our server when someone opens it. Anyone you give the link to can see the entries in it, so share it only with people who should see the list.
Server logs
Like most websites, our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to identify visitors.
Fonts
The two typefaces on this site are served from our own server, so loading a page does not contact a font service.
Embedded wheels
Other websites can embed one of our wheels with a code we provide. An embedded wheel loads from our server inside a frame on that site. Its entries are stored in the embed link itself, it does not save anything in your browser's local storage, and the analytics described below count it like any other page.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which tools are most useful. It sets cookies and collects technical data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. We do not send it the entries you type into the tools. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or by blocking cookies.
Children
The site is suitable for classrooms. Because we do not collect personal information, there is nothing for children to submit.
