Ways to use the NHL Team Wheel
Be a GM
Spin a team and run it in your hockey game of choice.
Playoff pools
Hand out random teams so the bracket stays fair.
Jersey of the night
Spin which team to cheer for at a watch party.
Tips
Want a team twice as likely? List it twice. Each line is its own slice. Turn on Remove winner after each spin to give everyone in a group a different team.

Frequently asked questions
How many NHL teams are there?
32, with 16 in the Eastern Conference and 16 in the Western Conference.
Can I change the list?
Yes. Everything in the box is editable. Add, remove, or rename entries and the wheel redraws as you type. Your version is saved in this browser, and Copy share link sends it to someone else.
Is the result really random?
Yes. The winner is picked with your browser's built-in secure random generator before the wheel starts turning, so every slice has exactly the same chance. The spin only shows the result.
Can I put this wheel on my website or in Google Slides?
On a website, yes. Press Embed this wheel and copy the iframe code. Paste it anywhere that accepts HTML or embed code, such as a blog post, a Google Sites page, or a course page in a learning platform like Canvas, Moodle, or Schoology (some schools turn embeds off, so check with your admin if it does not show). The embedded wheel keeps the entries you had when you copied the code, and visitors spin it right on your page.
Google Slides does not accept iframe code, so the wheel cannot run inside a slide there. Copy the link code or the share link instead, add it to a slide, and click it while you present. Slide and whiteboard tools that accept embed code or a web address, and PowerPoint with a web viewer add-in, can show the live wheel.
